The aim of the tour is to provide a very comprehensive base training for the Cape Town Cycle Tour in March. It has been found that 5 days of back-to-back cycling at a medium to easy pace works best – then afterwards to move high-intensity training and racing in order to peak for the Cycle Tour.

5 days of back-to-back riding down the coast, ending with the Cape Town Cycle Tour – the perfect Grande Finale! Our cycle takes us from the shores of Port Elizabeth, through the mystical Knysna, over the Outenique pass. and ends on the shores of the Mother City. Come experience this seaside adventure.

The Cedarberg Wilderness Area lies about 200 km north of Cape Town and encompasses 71,000 ha of rugged mountainous terrain. It is renowned for its spectacular landscapes and rock formations as well as its namesake, the increasingly rare Clanwilliam Cedar.  Come explore the beauty of the Cederberg with us on our exiting Hiking tour.

We begin in the Winelands near Stellenbosh and hike up into the mountains with spectacular views over the sea to Cape Town and Table Mountain in the distance. Each days’ hike is about 15 to 20 km with some steep inclines. (distances can be adjusted to suit most groups). Each night we sleep in mountain huts under the clearly visible Milky Way.

This tour has us based first in Cape Town and then in the Cape Winelands, venturing out daily on scenic hikes in and around the city.Lion’s head, Table Mountain, The Cape Peninsula, The West Coast, Franschhoek Valley, Paarl Mountain, Baines Kloof, etc.You will get plenty of exercise, while also seeing all the major sights and gathering some interesting information.
