Cape Point & Peninsula Day Tour with E Bikes & Hiking

Stop 1: Hout Bay

We head out past the beautiful white beaches of Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno with Table Mountain looming to our left and the dramatic 12 Apostles Mountain Range presiding over our drive to the top of the renowned Suikerbossie Hill.

From here we head down to the bustling fishing village of Hout Bay where you will have the option to take a 45-minute boat trip to see a large colony of Cape Fur Seals on Duiker Island (be sure to bring along something warm and have cash handy to pay for your ticket)

Next Stop: Chapmans Peak Drive

We drive directly out of the harbour, through the village and up the famed Chapman’s Peak Driveone of the most iconic passes you’ll ever do.

We stop for photo ops en route before sailing down towards Noordhoek and on to our next destination…

Stop 3: Boulders Beach

The cute seabirds of Boulders Beach never fail to delight with their comical walk and their tuxedo-like coats. You can choose to pay the entry fee and go onto the boardwalk or head down to the beach at no charge, where you’ll likely see a number of them swimming or basking on the rocks.

Stop 4: Cape Point

Now it’s time to take a break from the bus!
We get on our Bicycles and head along the stunning False Bay Coastline and up Smitswinkel Hill to the Cape Point Nature Reserve . Once through the gates, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife like Ostrich, Baboon, Eland, Bontebok, Zebra, Tortoises, snakes and more.

No need to worry about turn-offs. Just keep straight until you dead-end at the parking lot below the Cape Point Lighthouseyou will now have completed a total of 34km, but in all likelihood will still be feeling relatively fresh…😊

There will be multiple bail out points where you will be able to get in the bus if you want to stop for any reason.

Stop 5: Cape Of Good Hope

Starting at the Cape Point parking lot, we take a gentle downhill hike along the cliff paths, ending at the Cape of Good Hope The Southwestern-most tip of the African Continent.

You should be feeling pretty accomplished by the time you get there and ready to fight off the hoards of tourists wanting to take a photo with the sign, symbolising your journey to the tip of Africa (almost the tip anyway)

Cape Point and Peninsula Tour Wrap-Up

Scarborough, Misty Cliffs, Kommetjie, Ou Kaapse Weg & The Southern Suburbs

After a long day of adventure, we will now make our journey home.

There’s still heaps of breath-taking scenery to take in, so don’t be lulled by the motion of the bus, at least not until we leave the coastline at Kommetjie and head back towards the city where, upon completion of our Cape Point Peninsula tour, you will be dropped off at your accommodation.
